2. Use of the platform
NekaID is designed to help workers, companies, site managers, and contractors manage workforce information, QR verification, site attendance, inductions, and compliance visibility.
You agree to use NekaID only for lawful business, workforce, construction, safety, and site management purposes.
3. Eligibility
You must be 18 years of age or older to create an account or use NekaID. By using the platform, you confirm that you are using it for legitimate business purposes, including workforce management, site compliance, or construction site administration.
4. User accounts
Users are responsible for keeping their login details secure. You must not share your account access with unauthorised persons.
Companies are responsible for ensuring that only authorised managers or representatives access company dashboard information.
5. Worker information
Workers are responsible for ensuring that information they enter into NekaID is accurate, current, and not misleading.
This may include role, company, CSCS details, Right to Work expiry dates, qualification details, uploaded card images, medical information, and other site-related information.
Workers retain ownership of their own personal data and uploaded documents. NekaID processes this information only to deliver the platform features requested by the worker, as described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Company responsibilities
Companies and site managers remain responsible for their own workforce compliance checks, including but not limited to:
- Right to Work checks
- CSCS checks
- Qualification verification
- Health and safety requirements
- Induction completion
- Site access decisions
NekaID helps organise and display workforce information, but it does not replace a company's legal duties or compliance responsibilities.
7. Verification disclaimer
Unless a record is clearly marked as verified by NekaID, worker qualifications, documents, CSCS details, and uploaded information should be treated as self-declared or company-managed information.
NekaID does not guarantee that uploaded documents are genuine, complete, valid, or sufficient for legal compliance unless specifically confirmed.
8. QR codes and public scan links
Worker QR codes and public scan links may allow others to view worker passport information. Workers should only share QR codes and scan links with people or companies they trust.
Companies must use QR scanning responsibly and only for legitimate workforce or site management purposes.
9. Site attendance and GPS
NekaID may provide site sign-in, sign-out, visitor records, and GPS/location verification features.
GPS and attendance tools are intended to support site management, but they may depend on device permissions, mobile signal, browser settings, GPS accuracy, and user behaviour.
NekaID does not guarantee perfect GPS accuracy or uninterrupted attendance tracking.
10. Inductions
NekaID may allow companies to send or track induction requests. Companies remain responsible for ensuring that inductions are legally sufficient, site-specific, up to date, and properly reviewed.
11. Prohibited use
You must not use NekaID to:
- Upload false or misleading information
- Impersonate another person or company
- Access data you are not authorised to access
- Interfere with the security or operation of the platform
- Use the platform for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes
- Share personal data without proper permission or lawful basis
12. Availability of the service
We aim to keep NekaID available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.
We may update, suspend, change, or remove parts of the platform as the product develops.
13. Limitation of liability
NekaID is provided as a workforce management and verification support tool. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate user-submitted data, failed checks, missed expiry dates, site access decisions, device issues, GPS inaccuracies, or misuse of the platform.
Companies remain responsible for final compliance decisions and site access decisions.
14. Data protection
Use of personal data within NekaID is also covered by our Privacy Policy. Users and companies must use the platform in line with applicable UK data protection laws.
15. Account deletion and suspension
We may suspend or restrict access if we believe an account is being misused, presents a security risk, breaches these Terms, or creates legal or compliance concerns.
Users may request deletion of their account, subject to any legal, security, or compliance retention requirements.
16. Payments and subscriptions
NekaID may introduce paid subscriptions, pricing tiers, or company plans. Any payment terms will be shown clearly before purchase or subscription.
We may update pricing, features, or plan limits as the service develops.
17. Intellectual property
NekaID branding, design, software, content, and platform features belong to NekaID or its licensors. You must not copy, reproduce, resell, or misuse the platform without permission.
